Welcome!

This blog has been created to chart the development of Hell Racers, a student-developed game project for the capstone course in the Simulation and Digital Entertainment program located at the University of Baltimore USG Campus.

Basically, the capstone course was designed to teach students project management and team coordination by allowing them to develop an original game within a group. Groups were allowed to come up with their own concepts and then choose what specific game-engine that they would use to develop them. Due to the often long and arduous process of creating a game, the capstone course for our program is divided into two parts -- part one in the Fall semester of 2013 and part two in the Spring semester of 2014. The goal for part one was to finalize a playable prototype of our game, showcasing the basic mechanics and gameplay.

As I type this up, we are currently nearing the end of the Fall Semester, and so our prototype is available on the downloads page or directly here.
