Amanda Hammack, Week 1 Milestone

In the previous semester, I had built a modest kart intended solely as a stand, but before I begin on the in-game kart models, it was important that I had a detailed, untextured base kart that could be easily altered to form any of the 7 in-game karts.
Early on, I had prepared concept art to help me work out the best way to go about the 3D modeling. It separated the kart until its most primary shapes.
Day 1:
Day 2:
On day two, I completed the car seat and added a few primary shapes.
Day 3:
One day three, I added an orb, a seat, and postponed the side plating.
Day4:
On day four, I cleaned up the vertices for texturing and smoothing groups, deleted one of the overhanging bars, and streamlined the proportions.

Day 5:
On day five, I had completed the kart, intentionally leaving out any details that some of the models lacked.
